Part-Time Administrative Assistant

The Opportunity The United Churches has an immediate opening for a welcoming and highly organized Administrative Assistant. In this part-time role, you will serve as the friendly face and organizational hub of our church office. If you are personable, detail-oriented, and looking to support a faith-based community, we would love to hear from you!
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary point of contact, utilizing strong public relations skills to assist congregation members and visitors.
Manage daily office operations, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Handle clerical tasks, correspondence, and scheduling with high attention to detail.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient office space.
What You Need (Requirements)
Faith: Applicant must be a believer in Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior.
Skills: Must be computer-savvy and highly organized.
Personality: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM).
Pay: Competitive rate, based on experience.
Benefits: Includes accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays per church policy.
Location: On-site at 342 N. Garden Street, Hot Springs, SD.
