Join South Dakota State University’s (SDState) College of Nursing as a Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We’re dedicated to excellence in research and innovation. This is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track clinical position, serving as 100% faculty for the College of Nursing, supervised by the APRN Program Director, based at any of our College of Nursing sites (Brookings, Sioux Falls, or Rapid City South Dakota).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate assigned courses as an individual or as part of a teaching team.
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Nursing, including distance delivery.
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop, fund, and maintain an active program of research.
- Provide service to the profession.
- Occasional travel to other sites as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- DNP or PhD degree completed by application date or willingness to obtain a doctoral degree within 5 years.
- Licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing or eligible for licensure as an APRN.
- Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of two years as a practicing Family Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Evidence of professional service.
- Formal teaching experience in nursing.
- Experience in publishing extension materials and peer-reviewed journals.
- Preferred experience in primary care.
