Substitute Teachers

Aberdeen Public School District Substitute Position

Thank you for your interest in being a substitute for the Aberdeen Public School District. Aberdeen Public Schools is always accepting applications for on-call-as needed substitute teachers, educational assistants, and clerical staff to work at various locations. Because substitute personnel are working directly with students in an instructional capacity, we require substitutes in our district to be "highly qualified". In order to be considered highly qualified you will need to do one of the following:
Provide a copy of your Teaching Certificate Provide a copy of a college transcript verifying 48 semester hours of post-high school credit or an Associate's Degree Provide a copy of a Para Pro assessment If unable to provide one of the above documents, you may take the Para Pro assessment test. The test can be taken remotely on your computer at home or another secure location.
