About the Role:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Tabor, South Dakota. This full-time, onsite position involves working with middle and high school students in a resource setting. You will be instrumental in providing specialized support and instruction to help students with diverse needs achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student in the resource setting.
• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and support student learning.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience working in a resource setting with middle and high school students is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay rate of $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience.
