SAP ABAP Competency Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Competency Lead to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading ABAP development efforts, mentoring junior developers, managing project deliveries, and ensuring high-quality coding standards across the team.

• Lead and manage the SAP ABAP development team across multiple projects

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (RICEFW)

• Drive solution architecture and technical design for SAP ABAP development across modules (MM, SD, FICO, PP, etc.)

• Provide expert-level support in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs

• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Guide and mentor junior ABAP developers and conduct code reviews

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting

• Support S/4
  
  HANA migration or implementation projects, if applicable

• Strong command over Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP

• Proficiency in RICEF:
  Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (SAP Script/Smart Forms/Adobe)

• Experience with ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BDC, and LSMW

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, OData, and CDS Views is a plus

• Knowledge of S/4
  
  HANA ABAP programming techniques (AMDP, CDS, etc.) preferred

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude

• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
