Endpoint and Access Systems Administrator

Northern State University is seeking a motivated individual to join our Information Technology team as an Endpoint and Access Systems Administrator. This position is part of the networking and security team and supports enterprise systems for authentication, access, and endpoint security.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise endpoint management systems for Windows and macOS.
• Support authentication and access systems, including integration with identity and network access control technologies.
• Maintain endpoint security configurations and support system improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across endpoint, identity, and network systems.
• Collaborate with networking and security teams on access control and authentication systems.
• Provide documentation and technical guidance to IT staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with enterprise IT systems (e.g., endpoint management, identity services, or network access technologies).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across IT teams.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, or Entra .
• Familiarity with network authentication (802.1x), NAC, or certificate-based authentication.
• Experience in higher education or similar enterprise environments.

Salary: $29.76/hour

Term: 12 months

Work hours: 8:00‑5:00, 40 hours per week
