Warehouse – Permanent Part-time

• Maintains the warehouse and print shop in a clean and orderly condition for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment and work space
• Receives, picks up, sorts and distributes district mail/packages to multiple sites/locations. Receives, stocks, and delivers needed district supplies to multiple sites/locations

• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues and maintaining a functioning educational environment. (e.g. facility damage, unauthorized persons, alarms, etc.)
• Secures facilities as assigned for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss and/or potential liability. (e.g. locks doors, turns off lights, etc.)
• Assist with printing and sorting of districts print shop
• Deliver printed materials to sites/locations
• Perform other duties as assigned daily by the Director of Operational Services or designee.
• Preferred work hours:
  Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 11:30 am not to exceed 19 hours per week.
  
  Hours can be negotiable.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Electric forklift operation/care certificate or passing of District provided training course
• Hand truck/2 wheeler safe operation and care certificate
• Valid South Dakota Drivers License

Other Requirements: Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and good interpersonal and positive human relations skills. Ability to work alone and be self-motivated.

• Experience Desired: Warehouse/printshop operation
• Basic computer operation

Ability to climb ladders to heights of 6 feet. Walk stairs unaided in a multilevel facility. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel. Must be able to read and understand labels and schedules. Requires working in all conditions which may contain dust, moisture, snow, cold and heat.
