Janitor Lead

JANITOR LEAD (FULL TIME) – ESFM® USA

Location: 3M Aberdeen – 610 North County Road 19, Aberdeen, SD 57401

Schedule: Monday – Friday, full‑time; hours may vary.

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour

Requirement: Lead janitorial experience required.

Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to extensive knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.

• Conduct classroom and hands‑on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conduct one‑on‑one training as needed.
• Update and provide training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copy training materials and revise them as necessary; perform administrative tasks as requested.
• Provide feedback on new associates during orientation; review trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Recommend disciplinary action as appropriate to the training coordinator.
• Perform monthly safety performance reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company, federal, state and local requirements and policies.
• Perform walk‑through building inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
