Interim Nurse Educator Needed in Aberdeen, South Dakota!
The Position- An Interim Nurse Educator is needed to lead education, training, and compliance initiatives.
- Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this leader will oversee clinical education and training programs for nursing staff and support team members.
- Key responsibilities include coordinating CNA and CMA training programs, leading orientation for clinical staff, maintaining regulatory compliance tracking, supporting ongoing staff development, and participating in an on‑call weekend rotation.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care education, demonstrated success preparing teams for survey readiness, and the ability to support leadership during transitions. Must be highly organized, patient‑focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2‑3 weeks of acceptance.
- BSN required.
- Active RN license required.
- Previous nursing experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing setting required. Prior nurse educator or staff development experience is required.

- Compensation Range: $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
