  Eligible for a $10,000 Sign on Bonus
• Schedule will vary and include nights and weekends. Non‑block scheduling.
• Additional $5 per hour FLEX premium.
• Additional $1.25 per hour weekend shift differential.
• Additional $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential (6:00pm – 6:00am).

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age‑appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. As a member of the nursing team, the NA follows infection prevention and control policies and personal protective equipment use.

The NA assists with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, measuring and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support. Assists the resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct techniques and equipment, and provides range‑of‑motion and passive exercises. Completes food preparation and dining tasks, creates a positive dining experience, and provides water and supplements as appropriate. The NA aids nursing staff with procedures, documents resident interactions and outcomes, communicates changes in condition, collects non‑invasive specimens, and provides housekeeping and laundry services.

The NA also supports wellness and recreational programs and may participate in departmental or organization committees.

• High school graduate or GED preferred; not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within four months of start date; training and certification provided by facility.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours annually) and required certifications.
• When applicable, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
• May require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance if duties include driving as a Sanford Category II Driver.
