Licensed Practical Nurse – Float Pool
Levindale Hospital, Life Bridge Health – Baltimore, MD
Full‑time, Day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm). Rotating weekends may be required.
Pay: $27.15–$42.08 per hour (experience based). $6.00 per hour float differential. Sign‑on bonus potential: up to $5,000.
Position SummaryAs a Float Pool LPN at Levindale, you will provide skilled nursing care across multiple specialty units, including High Intensity Care, Brain Health, and Long‑Term Care. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, maintain unit operations, and may assume leadership responsibilities as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and gather relevant data to support individualized care.
- Obtain and document patient history, perform focused physical assessments, and complete admission data per policy.
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition or diagnostic findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver direct patient care in alignment with nursing care plans and established clinical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Identify and document patient and family cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit meetings, quality initiatives, and professional development activities.
- Float to assigned units as directed, demonstrating adaptability and strong communication skills.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required; experience in post-acute, rehab, or long‑term care preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current Maryland LPN license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
