Director of Nursing; DON

Aberdeen Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and deliver high-quality care to residents.

We are looking for a registered nurse with leadership experience in senior living or post‑acute rehabilitative services who is passionate about coaching, training, and developing others’ clinical expertise.

• Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $95,000 to $110,000

The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and organization standards. Maintains a physical, social, and psychological environment that promotes the health and well‑being of others, proactively anticipating and responding to resident, staff, and community needs. The DON guides clinical matters, facilitates and/or provides oversight of training, education, and effective clinical practices.

• Hold current Registered Nurse (RN) license with applicable state, or a Nursing Compact License (NCL)
• Supervisory/management experience in Long Term Care (Preferred, Not Required)
• Ability to set and achieve relevant and challenging goals for self and team, including continuous coaching, training, and development of a quality nursing team.
