Quality Assurance Technician (Food Safety and Quality Assurance)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest safety and quality standards, supporting our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and document production processes to identify potential safety or quality issues.
  • Collect and analyze samples, perform laboratory tests, and interpret results accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of food safety and quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to food safety.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or food safety certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation protocols.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and data entry.
