Unarmed Security Officer

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule:

Available shifts include:

• Thursday-Sunday | 11:00am to 7:00pm | Full-Time | 40 hrs
• Wednesday-Friday | 7:00am to 3:00pm | Part-Time | 24 hrs

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support daily operations at an agricultural and processing-related facility. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of grounds, gates, and facility perimeters
• Monitor employee/visitor access and ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas
• Observe and report any unusual, unsafe, or suspicious activity
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
• Respond to alarms or disturbances in a calm and professional manner
• Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, medical needs, or safety alerts
• Uphold all company security protocols and maintain a visible, professional presence
• Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding security or safety matters

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the day shift schedule
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of standing or walking
• Professional communication and conflict-resolution abilities
• Previous security experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Must pass any required background checks
• Valid driver's license

HS Diploma GED or H.S. Equivalent
