Installer/Service Technician

Pay: $20-$24/hour

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm

Description:

Join our team as an Installer, where you will be an essential part of a crew responsible for installing garage doors on commercial job sites. This role offers a dynamic work environment with regional travel while ensuring you are home every night. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasional Saturday work is on a voluntary basis.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in regional travel to job sites, meeting at the shop each morning with your crew.
• Work as part of a two-person crew, starting as a laborer/helper with opportunities to advance to a lead role.
• Perform tasks such as hard wiring doors, setting tracks, and putting up springs.
• Assist in physically demanding installations and be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including winter elements.

Essential

Skills:

• 1-2 years of construction experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Tape measure proficiency.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Mechanical, troubleshooting, electrical, and repair skills.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
