Event Sales Manager​/Assistant Event Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving catering/banquet revenues and meeting the targets set by the department each year, including lead generation, prospecting, conversion, team goal establishment, and monitoring employee satisfaction survey results.
• Assist in identifying market needs and trends across Catering, Wedding, Social, Conference, and Corporate business segments; define target markets, review direct competition, and ensure the sales team is fully aware of competitor activities, strategies, and promotions.
• Develop existing business and solicit new catering business through lead generation and marketing activities, using both traditional and non‑traditional sales techniques.
• Compile key financial reports for business analysis, event & catering budget, business plan, regular budget and forecast reports, and team production tracking/management.
• Conduct market research on competitors, analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify prospects to exceed fair market share performance.

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably majoring in hospitality or event management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Catering Sales position.
• Aggressive and positive working attitude.
• Solid sales experience in F&B, event and wedding planning within a hotel/resort area, with extensive knowledge of wedding planning and sales.
• In‑depth industry knowledge and previous exposure to a hotel social catering sales model.
• Ability to manage the identification and resolution of day‑to‑day problems related to event and wedding requests.
• Excellent Mandarin and English written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Event Sales Manager role.
