Crane Operator​/Handyman

• £30,000.00 per annum

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The standard working pattern will be 7.30am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday.

• To operate the onsite cranes and plant in line with provided lift plans, associated briefings and as instructed by learners and staff.
• Carry out day‑to‑day checks and light maintenance on the company’s cranes.
• Carry out maintenance around the facility to include, but not limited to general housekeeping, grass cutting, painting etc.

• This role would be ideal for either an experienced Crane Operator with appropriate qualifications or a candidate with plant experience looking to expand into crane operations.
• Minimum experience is required with some exposure to previous crane operating is ideal. The Company will put you through all the relevant training to operate our in‑house cranes and forklift.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be diplomatic.
• Well‑developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with a wide variety of people e.g., staff, clients, delegates.
• A professional appearance which appropriately reflects the role and the Company’s image.
• A highly organised but flexible approach to work activities.
• The ability to remain calm and assertive during busy periods or when dealing with challenging situations.
