LCV Technician

Job Summary

LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles.

Location:

Aberdeen.

Pay:
Up to £40,000 per annum, with overtime opportunities and regular salary review.

  Permanent / full‑time role.
• Shift and schedule: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday day shift, with overtime available when required.

• Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs within a workshop environment.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy.
• Complete job records accurately, work closely with the workshop team and maintain high standards of workmanship.

• Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands‑on experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
