LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Shift and schedule42 hours per week, Monday to Friday day shift, with overtime available when required.

A well-established commercial vehicle rental and fleet services business with a broad UK operation. The company works with a wide range of commercial customers and maintains a varied fleet that can include vans, LCVs, HGVs and specialist vehicles. The role sits within a technical maintenance team focused on safety, vehicle availability, customer service and high-quality repair standards.
Skills and experience- Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands on experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
- Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs within a workshop environment
- Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Carry out repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy
- Complete job records accurately, work closely with the workshop team and maintain high standards of workmanship
