Groundsman Ad-hoc

Drone-based cleaning enables efficient access to hard-to-reach areas while maintaining strict safety standards and contactless operation. The service is CAA-approved and is typically 5–10 times faster than traditional methods, offering cost-effective solutions for clients in the Greater Aberdeen Area and beyond.

Role Description The Groundsman required on an Ad-hoc basis will support drone-based window and facade cleaning operations on-site in the Greater Aberdeen Area in an ad-hoc capacity. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and maintaining work areas, assisting with ground-based equipment setup, securing operational zones, and supporting drone pilots during cleaning activities. The role involves monitoring site safety, handling hoses/ropes and cleaning materials, moving and organizing tools, and ensuring that access routes and work spaces remain clear and compliant with safety guidelines.

The Groundsman will work closely with the operations team, follow instructions and safety procedures, and adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining a professional and reliable presence.

Qualifications

• Relevant construction site safety credentials, such as CSCS and holding a valid CSCS Card.
• Experience with outdoor groundworks, including basic site preparation and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, work in all weather conditions, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of an on-site operations team.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, cleaning support, or construction environments is advantageous.
• Full, clean driving license and reliable transport to sites in the Greater Aberdeen Area is beneficial.
