We're recruiting for an experienced Approved Electrician to join an established and growing Building Services contractor in Aberdeen.
This is a varied role covering both electrical installations and maintenance across commercial and industrial environments. You'll be responsible for delivering works to a high standard while supporting apprentices and liaising directly with clients and site teams.
The Role- Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and current Building Regulations
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs
- Inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems
- Complete accurate reports, certificates and compliance documentation
- Support and supervise apprentices and junior electricians
- Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure works are delivered effectively
- Review engineers' reports and assist with pricing remedial works
- Participate in an on-call rota, currently approximately 1 in 3
- SJIB Electrician / Approved Electrician status or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Full UK Driving Licence
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred
- EV experience desirable
- IPAF 3a & 3b desirable
- £40,000 - £50,000 inclusive of overtime and on-call
- Company van & fuel card for business use
