KTV Working Drone Scotland North Ltd employs CAA-approved drone pilots and is focused on secure, compliant operations that meet strict safety protocols.
The Drone Pilot will operate commercial drones to perform high-rise window and facade cleaning across Scotland in an on-site, field-based capacity. This role includes planning and conducting drone flights, performing pre-flight and post-flight checks, and following all relevant CAA regulations and company safety procedures. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with site contacts, assessing environmental conditions, and selecting appropriate flight paths to ensure safe, efficient cleaning operations.
The Drone Pilot will also assist with routine drone maintenance, document flight activities, report any incidents or equipment issues, and support continuous improvements in cleaning techniques and drone usage.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Drone Piloting and Piloting for commercial operations.
- Candidates should have practical experience with Drones and UAV platforms, including basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should be capable of delivering and receiving Training related to drone operation and safety procedures.
- Valid CAA or equivalent UAV certification (GDT and GVC certs) and thorough knowledge of aviation and safety regulations.
- Ability to work safely at sites involving high-rise structures, with strong situational awareness and risk assessment skills.
- Good communication skills, reliability in documenting flight logs, and a disciplined approach to compliance.
- Experience in facilities services, building maintenance, or industrial cleaning is beneficial.
- Full driving license and ability to travel within Scotland as required.
