Electrician

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, qualified and versatile Electrician to join our team. This is a mobile, van-based role involving a variety of electrical work across multiple sites, with projects ranging from small tasks to works lasting several days or a few weeks.

You will travel between different sites, carrying out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and remedial works as required. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable and confident working independently to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Travel between various sites in a company van to carry out electrical works.

* Complete electrical projects of varying sizes and durations.

* Carry out electrical installations, repairs, fault finding and remedial works.

* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance as required.

* Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current electrical regulations.

* Complete electrical certification, job sheets and other relevant documentation.

* Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and colleagues.

* Manage time, materials and workloads effectively to meet deadlines.

* Maintain company tools, equipment and van stock.

* Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.

Essential Requirements

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

* Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification.

* Experience working as an electrician across a variety of sites.

* Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).

* Experience in commercial, industrial or domestic electrical work.

* Good practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge of current wiring regulations and electrical safety requirements.

* Ability to work independently, manage workloads and prioritise tasks
