SummaryJob Description
This position will perform clerical duties and assigned projects to support the department objectives.
Typical Duties- Office reception, includes greeting & assisting students, faculty, staff and general public
- Answer telephone and take messages
- Make copies, make files, fax, scan, file documents, empty shredder, prepare mailings
- Maintain postings on information board
- Use of Word, Excel and other college programs to create/update documents and files
- Provide support to staff in the Human Resource Office
- Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must exercise maturity in dealing with peers and confidential information
- Able to work independently and follow directions
- Reliable
- Enrolled in 6 credits or more
- Must be meeting Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (FA SAP)
- Must have their eligibility determined for federal/state financial aid and be awarded in ctcLink
- Have unmet need in their financial aid cost of attendance – $2500 maximum per quarter (generally for students attending full time)
