The Role ?Due to continued business growth, First Marine Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
You will assist to manage the complete lifecycle of projects, from award phase, through planning, execution, monitoring, completion and closeout phases, as well as post-completion evaluation and review.
The successful candidate will hold prior experience in the offshore survey industry as a Senior Surveyor / Party Chief, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes and enjoy tackling the technical challenges presented in Surveying.
Responsible for providing technical survey expertise whilst assisting the Project Managers to achieve safe and profitable execution of assigned projects, the successful candidate will hold previous experience within the offshore survey industry as a Senior Surveyor and / or Party Chief, will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes and be self-motivated, possessing the ability to use their own initiative to achieve defined goals.
YourExperience?
- Degree in related discipline and / or previous experience within a similar role.
- Offshore survey industry experience as a Senior Surveyor and / or Party Chief
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes (incl Word, Excel, Projects, Visio)
- Full UK Driving License
- ENG1 / OGUK Medical(s)
- GWO Certification
- Experienced in the use of Navi Suite Navi Pac Software
- Attention to detail and methodological approach to surveying.
- Proactive, can-do attitude and team player.
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet project deadlines.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and possesses the ability to use own initiative to achieve defined goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy and computer literacy.
- Enjoy tackling the technical challenges presented in surveying.
- Can add value to an environment that fosters a culture of safe survey practice.
