Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant with experience preparing and reviewing oil and gas permitting in the UKCS. The successful candidate will be a key senior member of our Permits & Licensing team, providing support to a diverse portfolio of oil and gas projects from concept to decommissioning. Depending on experience, you may act as project manager/sponsor, leading client contact and guiding consultants to deliver challenging projects on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for report writing and client liaison, helping to drive high‑quality delivery.

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Significant demonstrated professional experience in oil and gas permitting (including term and life chemical permitting)
  • Knowledge of offshore energy industries
  • Degree level training in a relevant discipline e.g., environment, chemistry, engineering
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
  • Good understanding of the offshore legislation and involvement in reviewing and consulting on relevant legislation
  • Attendance at technical working groups in previous role
  • You will know how to engage effectively with stakeholders.
