One of our clients is looking for a Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead, preferably based in Aberdeen or elsewhere in the UK, to work on site in Aberdeen.

The Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead reporting to Commissioning Manager will be an integral part of PDE Project Management Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, procedures, and methods. This role has been identified as a “Key Position” within clients project organization of PDE.

The Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead is responsible for monitoring the quality of discipline related documentation on design solutions and all engineering activities within EPC towards Process and Mechanical disciplines. The Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead shall ensure that all necessary information to execute commissioning and start-up is made available to all Contractor side.

Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead shall ensure that the completion system (PIMS) has the necessary data available to execute system and sub-system definition, have P& for system boundary mark-up, and information available to develop commissioning procedures.

Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead shallalso reviewallFAT-and SAT-procedure and vendor commissioning procedures. Commissioning Process Mechanical Lead shall also review vendor preservation procedures. A close relation with the Engineering Process Lead will be required to ensure alignment on plans and progress. Key activities to align will be process simulations, PFDs/UFDs, P&IDs, process data sheets, process safety report, process calculations.

Managecommissioningprocess/mechanical team.

Ensurethatrelevantactivitieswithinthedisciplinearewithinthecompanyframework and in conformance with contract, Yard Execution Plan, and relevant regulations. The health and safetyofpersonnel,naturaland workingenvironmentandequipment shall be taken care of.

Ensuregoodcooperation,communicationandalignmentbetweenthebase organization and the project.

Workwith PDEoperationsteamaswellasclienttoensureclearguidanceand clarifications are provided with regards to scope of work definition.

WorkwithJVYardorganization,client Construction Team,and Clienttoensure compliance and verification activities required. Review and comment documents for process and mechanical discipline

Preparecommissioningdossiersand procedures.

Participate in workpackreviewsessionsaswellasworkpacks preparation.

Participateindesignreviews,HAZID’s,HAZOP’sandanyotherrelatedsafety studies.

Reportto Commissioning Manager anydelaysinprogressunderhis/herareaof responsibility.

Participateinmeetings,inspections,andtri-party walks.

Collaboratecloselywithotherkeydisciplinesinthe Engineering Team.

Calloff assistance from discipline resources.

Minimum
15yearsofrelevantexperiencewithin operation,projectexecutionand commissioning

Experience inFPSOredeploymentisstrongly desired.

Recentexperienceofworkingin asimilarroleonUKNorth

Seaprojectswillbean advantage.
