Responsibilities

Assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders.

Initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures; maintaining patient records; selecting, assembling, checking, and operating equipment.

Consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, or modify patient care plans.

Conducting tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress testing, and lung capacity tests to evaluate patients’ cardiopulmonary functions.

Providing complex therapy requiring independent judgment, such as caring for patients on life support in intensive‑care units.

Monitoring and recording the progress and changes in the patient’s condition.

Educating patients and their families about their conditions and teaching appropriate disease management techniques.

Using Sleepware G3 sleep software to assess and monitor sleep patterns and provide appropriate treatment.

Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Current and valid license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Proficiency in medical software and technology.

Strong patient care skills and ability to communicate medical information effectively.

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle stressful situations.

Willingness to learn and use Sleepware G3 sleep software.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Excellent physical health and stamina – ability to stand and walk for long periods.
