Travel Nurse Source is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified LDRP RN in Aberdeen, Washington.

Shift Type: Rotating nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, includes weekends |
Hours per Week: 36 |
Rate: $81 per hour
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care for laboring patients through delivery and postpartum in an LDRP environment
- Support newborn care in the nursery, including routine assessments and initial stabilization as needed
- Participate in scrub roles for obstetric procedures when able, collaborating closely with the care team
- Perform timely documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care with compassion
- Respond promptly to clinical emergencies using BLS/NRP skills and coordinated team protocols
- Current WA Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi‑state licenses accepted with Nursys verification and approved 6‑hour suicide training)
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery
- STABLE training preferred but not required
- Comfort with or willingness to learn Meditech documentation (helpful, not mandatory)
- Ability to scrub for obstetric procedures is a plus
- Strong clinical skills in laboring patient assessment, fetal monitoring, and neonatal care
- Postpartum care and maternal‑newborn bonding support
- Newborn nursery routines, initial stabilization, and safe handling
- Proficiency or willingness to train on Meditech electronic charting
- Team communication, collaboration with providers and ancillary staff
- Adherence to safety protocols, BLS and NRP emergency procedures
