Job Summary
Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen seeks a qualified Nursing Assistant who holds an active NAR, has completed CNA courses, and has performed required clinicals. The position starts at $20.00 per hour and requires obtaining a CNA license within 120 days of hire.

Full‑time positions are eligible for all benefits listed. Part‑time positions are eligible for all benefits except Medical. On‑call positions are not eligible for any benefits except 401K.
Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
Responsibilities- Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
- Ambulate residents.
- Apply proper lifting and transferring techniques.
- Provide proper positioning and use of postural supports.
- Maintain residents’ positioning as needed.
- Weigh residents on schedule and record weights accurately.
- Provide restorative and rehabilitative nursing.
- Respond, within the scope of practice, to needs and concerns of residents and family members.
- Work with the care‑giving team to identify and resolve resident and family issues.
- Promptly respond to call lights and other resident needs.
- Treat residents with compassion and dignity.
- Establish effective communication and interaction with residents and families.
- Ensure residents receive the correct diet.
- Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and meeting residents’ social needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess an active Nurse Assistant Registration (NAR) and have completed CNA courses and clinicals.
- Must obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant certification within 120 days of hire; thereafter maintain current certification throughout employment.
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at the level required for the job.
- Must communicate positively with residents, families, co‑workers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to assist others, including co‑workers.
- Must maintain regular attendance.
- Must pass a criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation or provide documentation for an exemption.
- Recent clinical experience or education is preferred.
