The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator is responsible for daily oversight and coordination of activities within the assigned clinic in collaboration with clinic leadership. The position is responsible for both administrative and direct patient care services and serves as the clinical role model and clinical resource to a variety of roles to include:
Clinic RNs, Licensed Practical Nurses, MA‑C, etc. It’s an exciting time to be a nurse at Multi Care.
- Provides clinical supervision of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, observing skill level and knowledge, and assisting in change as needed; imparts knowledge in a facilitative manner to improve patient care and assists with problem‑solving as needed.
- Takes corrective action as needed.
- Sets clinical goals for areas assigned in collaboration with organizational nursing leadership and clinic leadership.
- Utilizes nursing process as a systematic problem‑solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient.
- Triage patients in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards.
- Makes decisions regarding patient care, utilizing critical thinking skills including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.
- Delivers medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs utilizing assessment and analysis skills.
- Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire.
- RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January1,2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.
- Advance degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi‑state licensure endorsement (MSL).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site.
- Two years of RN experience required; preferably in a clinical setting.
- Certification in relevant clinical specialty or nursing leadership preferred.

Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
