We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a correctional facility in Aberdeen, Washington. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday day schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing quality patient care within a correctional healthcare environment. Extensions may be available based on facility needs and performance.

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of LPN practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers.
• Monitor and document patient health status, responses to treatment, and nursing interventions.
• Assist with intake screenings, assessments, and chronic care management.
• Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist with patient stabilization as needed.
• Follow infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional setting.

• Active Washington State LPN License or Compact LPN License in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a correctional healthcare environment.
• Must successfully complete credentialing, background screening, and facility clearance requirements.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
