The Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and integrated behavioral healthcare within our outpatient setting. Working alongside physicians, counselors, behavioral health clinicians, and substance use disorder professionals, you'll help patients navigate their recovery through compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
This position offers the opportunity to care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders while making a lasting impact on both patients and the community.
What You'll Do- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new and established patients.
- Perform medication assessments, medication management, and crisis intervention.
- Develop individualized treatment and service plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and ongoing psychiatric care.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with Washington State and federal regulations.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing, including EKGs, renal function testing, and medication serum levels.
- Collaborate closely with Mental Health Counselors, SUD Professionals, Primary Care Providers, and consulting Psychiatrists to coordinate patient-centered treatment plans.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff regarding psychiatric conditions and medications.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant electronic medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Assist in developing evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing with the State of Washington.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of:
