This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night shift from 1830 to 0700, working 12-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours a week with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing and be a team player ready to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct assessments and administer medications as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond to emergencies and manage critical situations effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license.
- Verification of demographics from Nursys.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
- Completion of a 6-hour suicide prevention training.
- Experience with Meditech is helpful but not required.
