Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night shift , 12-hour shifts, 36 hours a week, with the ability to pick up extra shifts.
Job Description:
The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in emergency care to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to handle critical situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform triage duties and assess patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Washington State RN license or multi-state license.
- Proof of completed 6-hour suicide training.
- Verification of demographics from Nursys.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience as an Emergency Department nurse is essential.
- Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required.
