Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2105.28/week –

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical unit on a 13-week contract, ensuring optimal recovery and well-being. The role involves working a 36-hour week with every other weekend off and flexibility for additional shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary caregiver for patients in a Medical Surgical setting, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Float to other departments as needed to support hospital operations and ensure patient coverage.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly using Meditech or similar electronic health records systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, including approved suicide prevention training.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Washington State nursing license or valid multi-state license with proper verifications.
• Complete an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training.
• Possess verification of demographics from Nursys.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and adaptability to float across departments.
