• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and IV therapy per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and ensure patient safety
• Respond to emergencies, participate in code response, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary ED team
• Document patient status, interventions, and care plans in the electronic medical record (Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required)
• Communicate clearly with physicians, mid-level providers, case management, and ancillary staff; support accurate discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain clinical competencies, adhere to infection control standards, and protect patient confidentiality

• Active RN license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys verification; approved 6-hour suicide training
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Emergency Department nursing experience; strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• Education:
  
  RN degree from an accredited program
• Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED setting
• RTO (time off) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract; full availability for scheduling
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
