Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse (ICU) to provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Critical Care Nurses are responsible for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications, documenting all nursing actions accurately and completely.
• Provide bedside care and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
• Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment, interpreting electronic displays and vital signs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Current professional nursing license within the state of practice or nurse licensure compact.
• Critical care experience in a hospital setting.
• Additional requirements for a compact license include verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify.
• Proof of the right to work in the United States.
