Position: QHSE / QA Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

The QHSE/QA Coordinator is responsible for supporting the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
The role ensures that all equipment, personnel, and documentation are fully compliant with internal procedures, statutory requirements, and client specifications prior to mobilisation. It also provides coordination of QHSE activities, including audits, compliance monitoring, training support, and document control.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage mobilisation tracking systems (e.g. SharePoint, Smartsheet) to ensure project readiness.
  • Conduct pre-mobilisation inspections to verify equipment condition, cleanliness, maintenance status, and compliance.
  • Ensure all required documentation, certification, and labelling are complete prior to dispatch.
  • Liaise with logistics teams to ensure safe preparation and transportation of equipment.
Quality Assurance & Control
  • Apply quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Monitor equipment and processes to ensure adherence to QA requirements.
  • Identify non-conformances and support corrective action processes through to closure.
  • Verify calibration status of equipment and coordinate re-calibration where required.
QHSE Management System Support
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Business Management System.
  • Control and update procedures, work instructions, and records in line with document control requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across QHSE processes.
Auditing & Compliance
  • Plan, participate in, and support internal and supplier audits.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, legal requirements, and client specifications.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant legislation and industry standards.
Risk & Safety Management
  • Support the development and maintenance of Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments.
  • Assist in environmental monitoring and safety compliance activities.
  • Promote safe working practices and adherence to company policies.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
  • Prepare reports on mobilisation readiness, audit findings, and QHSE performance metrics.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, controlled, and audit-ready.
Training & Engagement
  • Support delivery and coordination of QHSE training programmes and safety campaigns.
  • Engage with operational teams to ensure QHSE expectations are understood and met.
  • Contribute to improving processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Analyse trends and identify areas for operational and QHSE improvement.
Travel
  • Travel to other company sites, client locations, or project sites as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in quality assurance/control roles in related industry

Preferred:

  • Additional ISO or safety related certifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience Required
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
  • Experience with quality management systems and audit processes
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach to work

Preferred:

  • Experience with in oil & gas, energy, or industrial services sector
