Food​/Consumables Team Supervisor

Food and Consumable associates are focused on two things: taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer.

As a fresh‐food and grocery associate, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive quality products and excellent service.

• Work in the deli and provide front‑line customer service – a smile can make the difference between a good and a great shopping experience.
• Work in the bakery – help customers celebrate special moments. You’ll decorate cakes and assist with special orders.
• Work in the dry grocery department – help customers locate the items they are looking for.
• Maintain detailed cleaning of shelves and departments, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality food products.

For all fresh‑food or grocery areas, you will also perform these core duties: verify product quality, pack ready‑to‑sell items in proper containers, prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food, keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready, and assist customers in ordering cakes or fulfilling deli orders.

• Assist customers in finding the products they need.
• Maintain high product quality across produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Help customers order cakes, fulfill deli orders, or find the right produce.
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
