The Sales Associate assists with receiving, stocking, pricing all merchandise, and helps maintain a clean, orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

• Customer Service: represent Westlake Ace Hardware positively, proactively assist customers in solving problems, greet customers as they enter and throughout their visit, thank customers upon departure, maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor, answer all pages and calls promptly, courteously, and effectively, forward unresolvable complaints to management, demonstrate strong product knowledge and store layout awareness, and provide personalized service to meet the premise of amazing every customer.
• Store Operations: create a positive, professional, and safe work environment; receive, check in, and stock merchandise; maintain back‑stock levels; perform daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area; provide a clean, orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise; reset merchandise throughout the store; assist department specialists with price changes and special orders;
  
  ensure signage is current; operate a forklift with proper training; communicate store support center issues and merchandising, cost‑control or sales ideas to the General Manager; participate in store meetings; maintain professional appearance and actions; perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; formal retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb as required.

$17.13 - $17.50 per hour.
