Security Assistant

Overview

This position serves as the initial security point of contact for Multi Care hospitals and clinics in areas where higher level security officers are not deployed. This is a non-clinical position assigned to the security department and responsible for initial security assessment of people coming into the hospital and to serve as a professional security presence.

• Greet patients and visitors and perform initial security assessment to determine the business reason for entering the hospital/clinic.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions as appropriate.
• Act as a professional security presence in a highly visible, discreet, and professional manner.
• Maintain internal and external contacts as part of the security function.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security experience preferred but not required.
