Class 1 Drivers

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers to join our client's transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods across designated routes while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with transport regulations.

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Transport goods to customer locations in accordance with delivery schedules.
• Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and electronic records accurately.
• Comply with all Road Transport Working Time Regulations and Driver Hours legislation.
• Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and highway regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security.
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and management.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately.

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport legislation.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Full-time position.
• Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work may be required.
• Overtime available depending on operational requirements.
