Warehouse Porter​/Janitor

• Earn $17 per hour
• 1st Shift

You will contribute by:

Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian/janitor.

Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows, and restrooms.

Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and waxing floors.

Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product.

Tending to spills, including damaged product, oil, grease, and other hazards.

Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly.

Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels.

Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift.

Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60 lbs or more.

Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead.

Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height.

Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.
