Catering Assistant

We are currently looking to employ two part time members of staff to join our busy catering team at Bronglais Hospital, to assist with the daily preparation and service of both patient and staff meals.

The successful candidates will need to be hard working, and willing to work as part of a team, for 22.5 hours per week. Working patterns will be between 07:00 and 20:00, with some weekend and bank holiday work.

• Assist the catering team with daily preparation and service of patient and staff meals.
• Support daily cleaning tasks and maintain a clean working environment.
• Possibly work in the staff dining room (subject to availability).
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures and uphold the values of the Health Board at all times.

• Hard working and reliable, with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills – able to interact well with colleagues, staff and visitors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Welsh language spoken is desirable for this post;
