Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
The CT/Diagnostic Technologist produces radiographs of designated anatomical areas as order/directed, according to established practices and procedures on all patient populations (infant through geriatric). The CT/Diagnostic Technologist will exhibit superior levels of customer service. The CT/Diagnostic technologist effectively operates equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Operating Room, and the Emergency Department. The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy.
The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- One-year hospital experience preferred but not required
- American Registry of Radiology (ARRT) license
- CT Certification or CT experience
- Kansas License for Radiology Technology (LRT)
- CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider]) obtained within first 90 days of employment
Schedule:
Full Time, Night Shift, Sunday-Thursday nights. 9:30 pm‑6:00 am.
