Machine Operator - 2nd Shift - Enterprise, KS
Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, currently has an opening for a 2nd Shift
Machine Operator at our Machine Shop in Enterprise, KS.
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Operation of saw, manual equipment and CNC equipment
- Ability to operate 2 machines at the same time
- Set up and production of parts within set tolerances
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Machine Shop manual equipment (engine lathe, knee mill, drill press, saw)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Working knowledge of CNC equipment
- Must be able to use precision measuring equipment to ensure parts are manufactured within tolerance
- Ability to accurately complete and maintain paperwork
