SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent has limited contact with customers but frequent contact with regional loan officers, lending assistants, other departments, title companies, etc. The incumbent must function efficiently under deadlines while maintaining professionalism. Independent judgment and decision-making are required in routine situations. The role involves sitting for extended periods and assisting with routine problems, referring complex issues to supervisors or other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create and deliver accurate loan disclosures to customers promptly, ensuring compliance.
- Order and review necessary documents for complete loan packages (credit reports, flood, appraisal, title work, etc.).
- Verify that each loan file contains complete, accurate documentation.
- Ensure all loans comply with Federal and State laws and bank policies.
- Perform confidential administrative tasks such as organizing files, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage all communication methods efficiently.
- Adapt to environmental changes, manage competing demands, and handle frequent updates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Participate actively in the Customer Service First culture, support organizational values, and adhere to bank policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 18 months of administrative experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred and may substitute for experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of discussing complex loan scenarios.
- Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to find alternative solutions.
- Proficient with or quick to learn loan processing software and related systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
