Part-Time (25 hours per week)
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (Hours to be determined)
Make a Difference Every Day The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is seeking an organized, friendly, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our administrative team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization. If you're passionate about serving youth, enjoy working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, and take pride in keeping things organized, we'd love to hear from you.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet visitors, members, families, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team.
Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
Assist with member registrations, data entry, and document processing.
Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Assist with donor acknowledgments, mailings, and special events as needed.
Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain confidentiality of member, donor, and employee information.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.
Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and telephones.
