Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra invites auditions for the String Section positions (Violin, Cello, Bass) and Substitute Strings for the season. Finalists will be contracted for one concert cycle in the season.
Auditions are scheduled for Friday, October 23rd, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The Final date to receive applications is October 16th, 2026, with pay scales listed:
Concertmaster - $192.00 per service;
Section/Substitute Players - $92 per service.
